Coronavirus (COVID-19) In Thailand – Your Resource Centre
Presented here is a guide and information to help you to understand and deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic In Thailand.
The whole subject of Covid-19 is rife with contradicting information, misinformation, uninformed and misleading opinions and outright lies. Many people and organisations, including – or may I suggest, particularly, governments – have their own agenda to promote.
Further the ‘big’ organisations do not give details of what is happening in Thailand, which is understandable.
It has taken me a lot of effort to gather together and publish here what I regard as the best resource for information on the coronavirus epidemic in Thailand.

Number of Cases Monitoring Spreadsheet
This is a free downloadable spreadsheet I made that produces a curve showing number of cases V dates similar to the graphic below:-
The spreadsheet can be downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet or a similar spreadsheet that can be opened by the free Libre Office spreadsheet. (Which I use and recommend if you don’t want to spend money.)
To keep your spreadsheet updated you will need to input the latest data on a daily basis which can be obtained from the official Thai Covid-19 website.
Here is the link to download the spreadsheet as described above.
Number and Location of Cases Monitoring Maps
WHO World Wide Map
This shows the location of cases worldwide as image below, but it is not Thailand-Specific. i.e. it only displays a single dot for all of Thailand.
Click here to see the map on the WHO website. (It’s a bit tricky to find via search engines!)
You could also visit the CDC website, but it has no Thailand-specific data that I could see: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/world-map.html
The same goes for the John Hopkins website: https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html
CovidTracker Map – Thailand-Specific
This is similar to the WHO map above but being Thailand-specific shows Thailand cases only. When I saw it last it had a lot of detail showing which locale the cases were and other information.
This is part of the map just showing the Bangkok area to a small scale:-
This is the url of the CovidTracker for Thailand website:-
https://covidtracker.5lab.co/en
Thai DDC Website
The Thai DDC Website at http://covid19.ddc.moph.go.th/en shows a map similar to the above Covid-19 Tracker Map map but the Thai site does lack the details shown on the Covid-19 Tracker Map.
There are case details given separately on the Thai DDC Website and there is a data curve along the format of the data curve I have made and shown at the top of this website.
There is, however, an important detail on the Thai DDC Website that makes a considerable difference to how the data is presented and could be called misleading at the mildest.
The detail difference is that my curve shows all the cases going back to the beginning in January and shows the classic rapid rise (called the ‘hockey stick’ shape) that is characteristic of exponential growth.
The Thai DDC Website however only shows the last few cases and is therefore relatively flat. This is apparent when you zoom in to see the full data as illustrated in the screenshot from the website given below:-
Worldometer Website
The worldometer website has a mass of data for the worldwide spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus.
One Thailand-specific and well known item is the table of cases, deaths, etc. This is a small part of that table, selected to show Thailand on 26 March 2023:-
Visit the website for more up-to-date information: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries

“Our World In Data” (COVID-19) – Statistics and Research Website
Another resource suggested by Mike M, this is a massive website full of history, analysis and more.
This is how the publishers describe their website:-
“The mission of Our World in Data is to make data and research on the world’s largest problems understandable and accessible.
Read more about our mission →
While most of our work focuses on large problems that humanity has faced for a long time – such as child mortality, natural disasters, poverty and almost 100 other problems (see here) – this article focuses on a new, emerging global problem: the ongoing outbreak of the coronavirus disease [COVID-19].
The outbreak started in late 2019 and developed into a global pandemic by March 2020.
This article covers a developing situation and the Our World in Data team is regularly updating it: The last update was made on March 25, 2020 (11:45am, London time).sources”
Also Very interesting is this on their website:-
“Why we stopped relying on data from the World Health Organization
Until March 18 we relied on the World Health Organization (WHO) as our source. We aimed to rely on the WHO as they are the international agency with the mandate to provide official estimates on the pandemic. The WHO reports this data for each single day and they can be found here at the WHO’s site.
Since March 18 it became unfortunately impossible to rely on the WHO data to understand how the pandemic is developing over time. With Situation Report 58 the WHO shifted the reporting cutoff time from 0900 CET to 0000 CET. This means that comparability is compromised because there is an overlap between these two WHO data publications (Situation Reports 57 and 58).
Additionally we found many errors in the data published by the WHO when we went through all the daily Situation Reports. We immediately notified the WHO and are in close contact with the WHO’s team to correct the errors that we pointed out to them. We document all errors we found. … etc”

Road to Roota Letters – Parts 1-3 “Year Zero” Interviews w/ Clif High & Bix Weir
This is a 3 part interview Bix had with Clif High. Part 1 was recorded in Las Vegas at Roota’s Litecoin Summit Party on Sept. 2019 (pre-Corona) and parts 2 & 3 were recorded in February then March 2020.
Clif High is extremely intelligent and informed. He has developed a system using web-bots that bring back data from the internet that Clif then analyses and produces monthly reports. The reports are mainly focussed on what the future will hold for us. One of these reports predicted an epidemic outbreak like the coronavirus.
Bix Weir is an ex-banker who now concentrates on market manipulation by ‘the bad guys’ and also makes successful predictions about the future – mainly in the economic field.
In terms of explaining the background to the epidemic from a health and financial viewpoint and also showing what the future is likely to bring these two people take some beating.

Peak Prosperity – YouTube Videos
Chris Martenson at Peak Prosperity Peak Prosperity has followed and reported on this coronavirus outbreak since the very beginning and in my opinion presents (daily) the most informative, unbiased and level-headed information that the average person can understand – bar none.
His analysis and information reveals the severe shortcomings in most governments and other ‘talking heads’ statements and actions.
